Patent Regulations (Notice of a Patent Invention by a State Official), 5730‒1969
Section 1: Transmission of Notice
Pursuant to my authority under section 137 and 194 of the Patent Law, 5727‒1967, and upon consultation with the Minister of Treasury, I hereby enact the following regulations:
1. A state Official, except for an employee of the security industry, a soldier and a citizen who is an employee of the Israeli defense forces (Hereinafter ‒ employee), who had invented an invention as said under section 137 of the Law, during his work, or not, shall notify to the fact in writing to the Registrar in the Ministry of Justice, through the Director General of the office at which he is employed or through whoever the said director general has authorized to do so.
2. The employee shall deliver a copy of the notice given under regulation 1 directly to the Registrar in the Ministry of Justice.
3. The notice give according to these regulations shall include ‒
(1) A detailed description of the Invention and, as the case may be, drawings or representations which give an account of the inventions specifications and the possibilities of its utilization;
(2) A description of the circumstances in which the invention was invented as well as the names of the employees, if any, which assisted in research or the invention;
(3) A description of the official roles of the employee;
(4) A list of references used by the employee for the purpose of his research;
4. These regulations shall be titled Patent Regulations (Notice of a Patent Invention by a State Official), 5730‒1969.
