ملاحظات This consolidated version of the Judges Act incorporates all amendments up to the "Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1 (S.C. 2024, c. 17)", which entered into force on June 20, 2024.
The Judges Act governs the appointment, administration, and duties of federally appointed judges in Canada. While it does not create or define IP rights or offences, it provides the procedural and structural framework for judges who may hear cases involving copyright, patent, trademark, and other IP issues.
