Pursuant to the Designs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
The effect of these regulations is to convert measurements in the Designs Regulations 1954 to their metric equivalents. They also require A4 international size paper to be used instead of foolscap in documents to be filed under the Designs Act 1953.
