Declaration made upon accession: "In accordance with paragraph 1 of article 16 of the International Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organisations of 1961, the Republic of Latvia declares that it will not apply Article 12 of the Convention on phonograms the producer of which is not a national of another Contracting State."
