Declaration made upon accession:
"Pursuant to Article 1.3 of the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, done at New York [in] 1958, His Majesty's Government of of Nepal declares that the Kingdom of Nepal will apply the Convention, on the basis of reciprocity, to the recognition and enforcement of awards made only in the territory of another contracting state. His Majesty's Government further declares that the Kingdom of Nepal will apply the Convention only to the differences arising out of legal relationship, whether contractual or not, which are considered as commercial under the law of the Kingdom of Nepal."
