The Higher Council on Literary and Artistic Property (CSPLA)is an independent advisory body, in charge to advise the Minister of Culture and Communication in the artistic and literary property field. Its establishment was motivated by the necessity to adapt legal instrument to technological innovations.
The CSPLA has several missions (see Article 2):
- it advises the Ministry in charge with Culture, by making proposals and recommendations
- it observes hoe copyrights and related rights are exercised and respected and how the practice evolves
- the president of the CSA establishes an annual report for the Ministry in charge with Culture.
