The Plant Varieties Act 1997 (Commencement) Order 1998

The Ministers, in exercise of their powers under section 54(3) of the Plant Varieties Act 1997(1), hereby make the following Order:—

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Plant Varieties Act 1997 (Commencement) Order 1998.

Provisions coming into force on 8th May 1998

2. The Plant Varieties Act 1997, other than sections 49, 53 and 54(2), shall come into force on 8th May 1998.
