TRADE MARKS (AMENDMENT) REGULATION, 1972

(LI 792)

IN exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister responsible for Justice by section 65 of

the Trade Marks Act, 1965 (Act 270) this Regulation is made this 27th day of November,

1972.

Regulation 1—Trade Marks Regulations, 1970 Amended.

The Trade Marks Regulations, 1970 (L.I. 667) are hereby amended as follows:—

(a) in sub-regulation (1) of regulation 70 thereof, by the deletion of the words "or

agent "; and

(b) in regulation 72 thereof, by the substitution for the definition of the word "agent"

of the following new definition:—

" 'agent' means an agent resident in Ghana and duly authorised to the

satisfaction of the Registrar."
