Details Details Year of Version 2017 Dates Issued: July 11, 2002 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits Notes The notification by Hong Kong to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Regulation provides for the amendment of the 'Schedule' to the Layout-Design (Topography) of Integrated Circuits (Designation of Qualifying Countries, Territories or Areas) Regulation (Cap. 445 sub. leg. B), in order to update the list of qualifying countries, territories or areas for meeting the international obligations under the TRIPS Agreement for affording the same level of intellectual property protection for layout-designs (topographies) of integrated circuits to nationals of other WTO Member countries, territories or areas, as to residents of Hong Kong, China.'
