Details Details Year of Version 1924 Dates Entry into force: June 5, 1924 Enacted: April 12, 1924 Type of Text Framework Laws Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes Section 40 of Chapter 3 entitled 'Consequential amendments' of the Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Law Provisions Act, 2019 introduces amendments to paragraph A of section 77 under Part III entitled 'District Court' of the Courts of Justice Act, 1924, by the insertion of the following clause after clause (v):
“(vi) in an intellectual property claim within the meaning of section 2 of the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 where the amount of the claim does not exceed such sum as stands specified by or under any Act of the Oireachtas to be the jurisdiction of the District Court for actions in contract.”.
