Details Details Year of Version 2020 Dates Status as of: December 17, 2020 Amended up to: March 1, 2018 Entry into force: November 3, 1994 Enacted: January 1, 1994 Type of Text Framework Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes This consolidated version of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 (hereinafter "the consolidated version of the Act 1994") incorporates amendments up to the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2018, which entered into force on different dates. Section 7 of the said amending Regulations 2018 introduced amendments (entered into force on March 1, 2018) to section 137(9) under Part X (Cross-Border Enforcement) of this consolidated version of the Act 1994. This consolidated version was updated on December 17, 2020, by adding the legislative changes in a list entitled "Changes to legislation" found on its final page, which have not yet been incorporated thereto. This version also contains incorporated provisions that are prospective.
