The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Act 2021 entered into force on different dates for the period March 1, 2021 to March 1, 2023, in accordance with section 2 entitled "Commencement" of the said Act.
The following provisions under section "Schedule" of the Act provide amendments to the following laws related to intellectual property:
- The Plant Breeder’s Rights Act 1994 under Part 4 (Amendments relating to making Rules of Court), Schedule 1 (Amendments relating to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia).
- Trade Marks Act 1995 under Schedule 2 (Further consequential amendments).
