Details Details Year of Version 2022 Dates Entry into force: August 21, 2022 Adopted: June 20, 2022 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits, Plant Variety Protection Notes Paragraph 5 under Article of this Law No. 128-VII introduces amendments to the following provisions of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 422-I of July 13, 1999, on the Protection of Selection Achievements: 1) Paragraph 2 of Article 3-1, subparagraph 4). 2) the second sentence of the second part of subparagraph 3) of Article 5 (deleted). 3) The first part in paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 under Article 8, 4) The second part of paragraph 4, the first part of paragraph 5 under Article 10. 5) Article 20-2, paragraph 3, subparagraph 3). 6) Paragraph 3 of Article 22-3. 7) Articles 22-4 , 22-5 and 22-6. 8) Subparagraph 1) of paragraph 1 under Article 26. Paragraph 6 under Article 1 of this Law No. 128-VII introduced amendments (in force from August 21, 2022) to a number of provisions of Chapter 1, 2, and 4 to 8 of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 427-I of July 16, 1999. Paragraph 9 under Article 1 of this Law No. 128-VII introduces amendments to the following provisions of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 217-II of June 29, 2001, on Legal Protection of Topologies of Integrated Microcircuits: - Subsection 4 of Article 4. - The second part of paragraph 1 of Article 11. - Articles 15, 15-1 and 15-2.
