The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 152 (5) of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927), as adapted by section 2 of the Executive Powers (Consequential Provisions) Act, 1937 (No. 20 of 1937), sections 8 (2) and 70 (5) of the Trade Marks Act, 1963 (No. 9 of 1963), and sections 5 (1) and 93 of the Patents Act, 1964 (No. 12 of 1964), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) (Amendment) Order, 1976.
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.
3. The Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) Order, 1959 (S.I. No. 22 of 1959), as amended by the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) (Amendment) Order, 1966 (S.I. No. 30 of 1966), and the Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (International Arrangements) (Amendment) Order, 1968 (S.I. No. 32 of 1968), shall have effect as if, for the foreign states specified in the First Schedule thereto, there were substituted the foreign states specified in the Schedule to this Order.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in "Iris Oifigiúil" of 24 December, 1976.
