I, Tom Kitt, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 97(3A)(inserted by section 5(c) of the Intellectual Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1998 (No. 28 of 1998)) of the Patents Act, 1992 (No. 1 of 1992) (as adapted by the Enterprise and Employment (Alternation of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 (S.I. No. 305 of 1997)), and the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1997 (S.I. No. 330 of 1997), hereby order as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Intellectual Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1998 (Patents Office Location Designation) Order, 1998.
2. The Patents Office shall be located at Government Buildings, Kilkenny, in the county of Kilkenny from the 31st day of August, 1998.
