Details Details Year of Version 2018 Dates Amended up to: January 2, 2018 Entry into force: December 2, 2002 Adopted: December 2, 2002 Type of Text Other Texts Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Subject Matter (secondary) Trademarks Notes This consolidated version of the Law on Theatre and Theatrical Activity excludes matters governed by copyright and related rights legislation (Art. 3), requires compliance with authors’ and performers’ rights in the broadcasting and other dissemination of performances (Art. 6), establishes exclusive rights in live theatrical productions, including protection of directors, performers, and producers against infringement (Arts. 12–16), and requires contracts with theatre professionals to define the terms for the exercise of copyright, related rights, and rights in live performance (Art. 23).
