A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section 59 of the Trade Marks Act, 1981 (Act 1981-56) it is provided that the said Act comes into operation on a day to be fixed by proclamation:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the said Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1985:

NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I do hereby fix the 1st day of January, 1985 as the day on which the said Act shall come into operation.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of Barbados this 20th day of November, 1984 and in the Thirty-third year of Her Majesty's Reign.
