The Criminal Code entered into force on September 21, 1983, 180 days after its promulgation, and was published in the Official Gazette on October 6, 1982. It has been repealed by the Criminal Code 2007 that entered into force on May 22, 2008.
Book II, Title XII, Chapter III, Article 380 imposes criminal sanctions for acts of unfair competition, such as disclosure of misleading information which causes economical injury to the competitor.
