Determining plant species whose varieties are protected under Intellectual
Property Rights Protection Law

The Minster of Agriculture and Land Reclamation

-Having reviewed the Agrarian Law promulgated by Law No. 53 of 1966 and the amending laws thereof; -Having reviewed the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Law promulgated by Law No. 82 of 2002; -Having reviewed the Executive Regulations of Law No. 82 of 2002 promulgated by Prime Minister Decree No. 1366 of 2003; -Having reviewed Prime Minister Decree No. 492 of 2003 establishing Plant Variety Protection Office; -Having reviewed Ministerial Decree No. 2341 of 2003 subordinating Plant Variety

Protection Office to the Central Administration for Seed Certification; -Upon the approval of Agricultural Crops Seed Committee; -Upon a presentation by the Head of the Agricultural Services and Follow-up

Sector.

Has decreed

Article I

Determination of plant species whose varieties are protected by the provisions of Law No. 82 of 2002 and the Executive Regulations thereof, both are referred to in the attached Table from serial number 1 to serial number 100.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall be enforced as of the day following the day of publication.
