Accession by the German Democratic Republic to the Hague Act (1960) and the Complementary Act of Stockholm (1967) was accompanied by the following declaration: "Regarding the Provisions of Article 27 of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs of November 6, 1925, as revised at The Hague on November 28, 1960, and supplemented at Stockholm on July 14, 1967, as far as the application of the Agreement to colonial regions and other dependent territories is concerned, the German Democratic Republic is guided by the provisions of the United Nations Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (Resolution No. 1514 (XV) of December 14, 1960) proclaiming the necessity of bringing to a speedy and unconditional end colonialism in all its forms and manifestations." Ratification of the Complementary Act of Stockholm (1967) also applied to Land Berlin with effect from the date on which it entered into force for the Federal Republic of Germany. (see The Hague Notification No. 3)

Germany notified acceptance for the termination of the Additional Act of Monaco (1961), on August 16, 2010. The termination of the Additional Act of Monaco became effective on October 18, 2016.

Germany notified acceptance for the termination of the London Act (1934), on August 16, 2010. The termination of the London Act became effective on October 18, 2016, three months after the Director General of WIPO received the last required notification of acceptance.
