Reservations made upon accession: "Reservation to Article 5 The Principality of Liechtenstein declares, in accordance with Article 5, paragraph 3 of the Convention, that it rejects the criterion of first fixation. It will therefore apply the criterion of first publication. Reservations to Article 12 In accordance with the provisions of Article 16, paragraph 1 of the Convention, the Principality of Liechtenstein declares that it will not apply the provisions of Article 12 as regards phonograms the producer of which is not a national of another Contracting State. The Principality of Liechtenstein also declares, as regards phonograms the producer of which is a national of another Contracting State, that it will limit the protection provided for by Article 12 to the extent to which, and to the term for which, the latter State grants protection of phonograms first fixed by a Liechtenstein national, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16, paragraph 1 (a) (iv) of the Convention."
