Declaration made upon accession to the Stockholm Act: "The People's Republic of Bulgaria considers that the terms of Article 14, paragraph (4), providing the right for colonial States to extend the application of the Agreement referred to above to the territories which are subordinated to them, are in contradiction with current international law and with the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 14, 1960."
