Accession by the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic contained the following declaration: "Acceding to the present Agreement, the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic wishes to declare that the provision of Article 12, paragraph 3, of the Agreement concerning the validity of the provision of Article 24 of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property in relation to the present Agreement has been overcome and is in contradiction with the Declaration of the United Nations on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples." 捷克斯洛伐克社会主义共和国加入：1977年7月28日；生效：1978年8月3日。斯洛伐克共和国发表继续适用声明：1992年12月30日。生效日期为其独立日。
