MicroSD Cards Exclusion Regulations (Copyright Act)

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the

Minister of Industry, pursuant to sections 79 and 87 of the Copyright Act , makes

the annexed MicroSD Cards Exclusion Regulations (Copyright Act).

Microsd Cards 1 Memory cards in microSD form factor, including microSD, microSDHC and

microSDXC cards, are excluded from the definition audio recording medium in

section 79 of the Copyright Act.

Coming into Force 2 These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
