Details Details Year of Version 2015 Dates Entry into force: May 13, 1997 Adopted: August 6, 1996 Type of Text Other Texts Subject Matter Trademarks Notes This consolidated version of Supreme Decree No. 977/1996 incorporates all the amendments up to Decree No. 134/2014, which was promulgated on September 5, 2014, was published in the Official Gazette on January 14, 2015, and entered into force on July 13, 2015.
For the amendments introduced by Article 1 of the said Decree 134/2014, see the following provisions of this consolidated version:
- Title II, Paragraph I, Article 106, paragraphs No. 34 and 35;
- Title XXVIII, Paragraph VI, Article 518.

Article 107(a) of this consolidated Supreme Decree indicates that the name of food might include information on trademark.
Article 107(m) provides that the record of imported products maintained by importers must contain, inter alia, the trademarks of these products.
