Details Details Year of Version 2021 Dates Status as of: April 26, 2021 Amended up to: October 1, 2020 Enacted: July 19, 2007 Type of Text Framework Laws Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes This consolidated version of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (hereinafter "the consolidated Act 2007") incorporates amendments up to the Sentencing Act 2020 (Chapter 17), which entered into force on different dates. Paragraph 443(1) under Part 6 of Schedule 24 and Schedule 18 of the said amending Act 2020 introduced amendments (entered into force on December 1, 2020) to section 92(3) and section 105(2) under Part 4; paragraphs 132 & 133 under Schedule 13, and paragraph 15(4) under Schedule 20 of this consolidated Act 2007. Section 143 under Part 7 (Miscellanous); paragraphs 20 & 25 under Part 1, Schedule 10, and Part 6 under Schedule 23 of the consolidated Act 2007 provide amendments to the Registered Designs Act 1949, Trade Marks Act 1994, Patents Act 1977, and Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. This consolidated Act 2007 was updated on April 26, 2021, in order to indicate that all the changes incorporated thereto are in force on or before April 26, 2021, and to add the legislative changes in a list entitled "Changes to legislation" found in its final page 360 (These changes have not yet been incorporated to the said consolidated version). This version also contains incorporated provisions that are prospective (e.g. section 143 under Part 7 (Miscellanous); and Part 6 under Schedule 26 relating to amendments to the Registered Designs Act 1949, Patents Act 1977, and Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988).
