'This Order provides that the 1927 Act shall come into operation on 1 October 1927 in respect of designs'.
'The several parts of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act 1927 (No. 16 of 1927) shall come into operation on the following dates respectively, that is to say:
Part VI and VII on the first day of August 1927;
The Part entitled 'Preliminary and Part I to V (both inclusive) and the First and Second Schedules on the first day of October 1927'.

(PROTECTION) ACT, 1927 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1927.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927), that that Act shall come into operation on such day or days as may be fixed therefor by any order or orders of the Executive Council, either generally or with reference to any particular Part of that Act, and different days may be fixed for the commencement of different Parts of that Act:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the several Parts of the said Act should come into operation on the respective dates hereinafter mentioned:

NOW, the EXECUTIVE COUNCIL in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927) and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling do hereby order as follows :-

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (Commencement) Order, 1927.
2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923) applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
3. The several Parts of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927) shall come into operation on the following dates respectively, that is to say-

Part VI and VII on the 1st day of August, 1927;

The Part entitled "Preliminary" and Parts I to V (both inclusive) and the First and Second Schedules on the 1st day of October, 1927.

LOI N° 16 DE 1927 CONCERNANT LA PROTECTION DE LA

PROPRIÉTÉ INDUSTRIELLE ET COMMERCIALE

(N° 60, du 29 juillet 1927.)F (1)

Vu qu’il est prescrit dans la HUsection 2UH de la loi n° 16 de 1927 concernant la protection de la

propriété industrielle et commercialeF (2)

F que cette loi entrera en vigueur à la date ou aux dates

indiquées par une ou plusieurs ordonnances du Conseil exécutif, soit en général, soit par rapport à

telle ou telle partie de la loi et qu’il peut être décidé d’établir des dates différentes pour l’entrée en

vigueur de ces diverses parties;

Vu qu’il convient que les diverses parties de ladite loi entrent respectivement en vigueur aux

dates ci-dessous mentionnées;

Le Conseil exécutif, exerçant les pouvoirs qui lui ont été conférés en vertu de la HUsection 2UH de

la loi précitée et tous les autres pouvoirs dont il est investi en l’espèce, ordonne ce qui suit:

1. La présente ordonnance pourra être citée pour toutes fins comme l’ordonnance de 1927

concernant l’entrée en vigueur de la loi de 1927 relative à la protection de la propriété industrielle

et commerciale.

2. L’Interpretation Act n° 46, de 1923, s’applique à l’interprétation de la présente ordonnance

comme il s’applique à l’interprétation d’une loi promulguée par les Direachlas.

3. Les diverses parties de la loi n° 16 de 1927 concernant la protection de la propriété

industrielle et commerciale entreront en vigueur aux dates ci-dessous mentionnées:

Les parties VI et VII, le 1 er

août 1927; la partie intitulée « Préliminaire », les parties I à V et

les annexes 1 re

et 2 e , le 1

er octobre 1927.
