Notes This consolidated Federal Law covers a wide range of regulated activities across sectors, including healthcare, education, energy, and intellectual property.
It applies to both individuals and legal entities engaging in activities that require a license under Russian law.
The licensing of Intellectual Property (IP) Activities:
- Certain IP-related activities fall under the licensing regime, including: (1)use of patents related to exploitation of inventions or utility models, (2) use of trademarks: Commercial use of registered trademarks and service marks, (3) use of industrial designs related to exploitation of registered industrial designs in production or commercial operations.
- IP commercialization: Licensing, assignment, or management of IP rights for profit.
- Technology transfer: Transfer of IP rights or know-how in commercial agreements.
