This order is the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2011 Com- mencement Order 2011.

2 Commencement of sections 18 and 23 of Trade Marks Amendment Act 2011 Sections 18 and 23 of the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2011 come into force on 7 October 2011.

Explanatory note This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect. This order brings into force, on 7 October 2011, sections 18 and 23 of the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2011. Those sections, respect- ively, insert new subpart 2A of Part 4 of the Trade Marks Act 2002 (the Act), relating to the appointment, functions, and powers of en- forcement officers, and new sections 155A to 155K of the Act, relat- ing to the enforcement powers of Customs officers.
