Notas This consolidated version of the Penal Code incorporates amendments up to Law No. 2025-622 of 9 July 2025, Creating The Offence Of Road Homicide And Aiming To Combat Road Violence, which entered into force on 11 July 2025.
Article 20 of the said amending Law No. 2025-622 introduced amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated Code:
- Article 131-22
- Article 132-16-2
- Article 221-8
- Article 222-44
- Article 434-10
Article 434-41 of the consolidated version of the Penal Code provides:
“Violation by the convicted person of the obligations or prohibitions resulting from the penalties (…) of prohibition from entering into a new subscription contract for an online public communication service, as provided for under the additional penalty in criminal matters by Article L. 335-7 of the Intellectual Property Code, is punishable by two years of imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros.”
