注 This consolidated version of the Patent Act takes into account amendments up to the "Act for Partial Revision of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act (Act No. 51 on June 14, 2023)", which was promulgated on June 14, 2023, and entered into force on different dates.
The amendments introduced by the said amending Act No. 51 to this consolidated version of the Patent Act entered into force on July 3, 2023 (see Articles 186, 192 (1) (ii) and 192-2 for detailed amendments).
