注 This consolidated version of Law No. 5042 on the Protection of Plant Breeders' Rights for New Plant Varieties takes into account amendments up to "Decree-Law No. 700 on Amendments to Certain Laws and Decree-Laws for the Purpose of Compliance with the Amendments Made to the Constitution", which was published in the Official Gazette on July 7, 2018, and entered into force on July 9, 2018.
Article 148 of the said amending Decree-Law No. 700 amended the fourth paragraph of Article 18 of Chapter Three under Part Three (relating to Compulsory Licences and Exhaustion. of Breeder's Rights).
