Details Details Year of Version 2018 Dates Amended up to: July 9, 2018 Entry into force: November 19, 2003 Published: November 19, 2003 Adopted: November 6, 2003 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated version of Law No. 5000 on Patent and Trademark Attorneyship and Certain Regulations incorporates amendments up to "Decree-Law No. 703 of July 2, 2018, on Amendments to Certain Laws and Decree-Laws to Comply with the Amendments Made in the Constitution", which was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force on July 9, 2018. Article 86 of the said amending Decree-Law No. 703 provides for the following changes to this consolidated version of Law No. 5000: - The name of the Law "Law No. 5000 on the Establishment and Functions of the Turkish Patent Institute" has been changed to "Law No. 5000 on Patent and Trademark Attorneyship and Certain Regulations." - Articles 1 to 15/B, the first and second paragraphs of Article 15/C, Articles 16 to 24, the first, second, and fourth paragraphs of Article 25, and Articles 26, 27, and 29, as well as Additional Article 1, Provisional Article 1, and Provisional Article 2 have been repealed.
