Application to the Brussels Act (1948) by France: October 23, 1951; Entry into force: May 22, 1952. Deposit on August 4, 1971, of an instrument of accession to the Stockholm Act (1967). In accordance with Article 29 of the latter, Chad is bound, as of November 25, 1971, by Articles 1 to 20 of the Brussels Act.

This State deposited its instrument of accession to the Stockholm Act in its entirety; however, Articles 1 to 21 (substantive clauses) of the said Act have not entered into force. (see Berne Notification No. 30)
Stockholm Act (1967): In accordance with the provisions of Article 29, the Republic of Chad will, from November 25, 1971, be bound by Articles 1 to 20 of the Brussels Act of the Berne Convention, pending the entry into force of Articles 1 to 21 of the Stockholm Act. (see Berne Notification No. 30)
