Details Details Year of Version 2023 Dates Amended up to: November 13, 2023 Entry into force: February 5, 1993 Promulgated: February 5, 1993 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Trademarks Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated version of Law No. 2181-XII of February 5, 1993, on Trademarks and Service Marks takes into account amendments up to "Law No. 243-Z of January 9, 2023, on Amendments to Laws on Legal Protection of Intellectual Property", which was published on January 12, 2023, in the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus, and entered into force on different dates. Article 1 of the said amending Law No. 243-Z of January 9, 2023, which entered into force on November 13, 2023, introduced amendments to Articles 1 to 10, Articles 12, 16, 16^1, 17, 19, 20, 26 and 27 of this consolidated Law on Trademarks (that subsequently makes this consolidated Law amended up to November 13, 2023).
